Brandy connoisseur’s tour
For the brandy connoisseur, we invite you to become an integral part of the story of this year’s vintage of micro-distilled Baldwin City Distillery Brandy. Take part in bringing in our single-harvest apple crop. Discover the distinctive characteristics of our vintage cider apples sourced from the U.S., England, France, Japan, and Spain. See how we select, sort, crush, mix, and juice the raw cider apples to develop an exquisite flavor profile. Observe firsthand how small-batch brandy is made in copper still micro-distillation. Learn about the distillation process, the dangers of consuming undesirable elements of alcohol, and brandy aging.
(Available to participants ages 21+.)
